I'm being more than fair by giving this stupid comedy about a manservant to a cranky, old rich woman "accidentally" kidnapping himself for ransom a "D." Norm MacDonald plays the lead role, which was not a complete mistake because now we know that this charismatic ex-Saturday Night Live member shouldn't be given any more lead roles. MacDonald is never convincing. I noticed that the script sort of makes a lame attempt at being funny yet they result in no laughs. If it had significantly better jokes, better lead actors, and a better director, this film's plot (with a few clever ideas strewn into it) would not have been put to a complete waste.
