Love and Death

Woody Allen takes on Russian literature as he stars as a wimpy Russian villager during the time of Napoleon. He has taken love to Diane Keaton and has become intrigued by death ever since Death itself has talked to him. Produces excellent laughs; probably the best of all Woody Allen's pre-Annie Hall films, but they aren't frequent.
