A Knight's Tale

A peasant (Heath Ledger) gets Geoffrey Chauncer to forge papers to make it seem that Ledger is of noble birth thus allowing him to fight in the jousting tournaments and live on the prize money. A very good cast and a generally funny script make this film enjoyable; it just runs out of steam toward the end. This film really had some clever ideas, but for some reason they green lighted some corny scenes and bad jokes resulting in a film that left me with mixed feelings.
