A goofy inventor brings home a "mogwai," a strange, furry little critter that is scared of bright light, should never have contact with water, and should never ever eat after midnight, for his son's birthday present. Inevitably all these don'ts happen and we end up with thousands of these "mogwais" in their post-evolutionary state; "gremlins." These gremlins terrorize the town and are quite humorous in doing so. This is a cute horror/comedy that most people can enjoy.
